Elena LaVictoire

Elena LaVictoire has been homeschooling for over 30 years. All six of her children completed their family’s homeschool program. They are in a variety of occupations, including Michelin chef, EMT, building maintenance worker, and finance, and two are currently finishing their undergraduate degrees. She is currently homeschooling her middle-school aged granddaughter.

Elena has been active in the local homeschool community from the beginning of her homeschooling years and has served in leadership with ARCHE, The Saturday Soccer League, and Oaks of Righteousness Council.

Elena has taught classes from pre-K to high school including: Flute technique, dance, Five-in-a -Row, General Science, Physical Science, High School Logic, and American History for High School. She also developed and taught an upper-elementary history/literature class based on the Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder.



Melissa Bazil

Melissa Bazil has been homeschooling he two girls since 2010, since her oldest was three. Vanessa, now 18, is a senior in high school and attends classes at Kent State as a CCP student. Her youngest, now 14, attended Stark State last semester for CCP. Melissa and her girls are fluent in Spanish and enjoy speaking it together and teaching others.

Because of her love of the stage, Melissa became a playwright and has written and produced five shows and looks forward to producing many more. She also has a passion for teaching language arts and math-related sciences. Being an athlete, she coaches track and also started a homeschool athletic club to serve families with outdoor athletic activities.
